​ICA were appointed to prepare revised planning and listed building strategies and co-ordinate site works. The proposals provide reconfigured apartment plans to enhance the building's inherent qualities and a redesigned brick addition which is sympathetic in scale, form,  fenestration, proportion and texture. The paler brick of the extended wing seeks to ‘lighten’ the addition against the heavier stock brick building. Internally, damage is repaired, historic details reinstated and a restrained palette of finishes marries the old with the new.
