Located in a Victorian terrace in Stepney, East London, the proposal for this ground floor flat was driven by the client's desire to entertain and to create a family home that was more generous and flexible.

The proposal works with the historic fabric of the home, but by pushing and pulling at certain moments, improves its openness, connectivity and flexibility. The redesign offers more space, storage and cohesion, all centered around a courtyard
